I am an independent graphic and typeface designer. I live and work in Wiesbaden, Germany. I work for own customers but also collaborate with other design agencies, designers and type foundries.

Since 2013 I hold an M.A. in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, UK. Before that I studied Communication Design in Mainz, Germany.

I design typefaces (fonts) for clients, type foundries and myself. My first typeface Lisbeth has been published by the type foundry TypeTogether. Here you can read about the design process.
I specialized in the Latin and Greek script and I have experience with some "dead" scripts like the Egyptian Hieroglyphs and the Cuneiform. When I am not designing typefaces I very much enjoy the freedom and flexibility of lettering projects.

As a graphic designer I specialized in the design and re-design of logos and identities and since 2008 I enjoy to create effective communication for small to medium-sized clients. As a typography expert I also consult and work on branding projects for design agencies. Take a look at my projects.
